Visual communication is tough. Oftentimes, the user doesn't comprehend the artistic concept. Visual communication, with FDA oversight, amplifies the challenge. Communicating personal health risks and conditions may trigger negative responses from the consumer. Below is a small set of icons that used user education, product, and marketing.

Icon design for HP LaserJet printer control panels. As an industrial designer, I had the opportunity to create icons which reflected the hardware design language. This allowed for a deeper connection between the hardware and software experience.
Instruction Labels For Laser Printer
HP
Instruction labels are placed on HP LaserJet printers to help the user trouble shoot. Each printer had different configurations. I illustrated the instruction labels for my printers by simplifying my industrial design CAD drawings. The labels below represent paper handling and toner replacement.
