Red Dot Awarded Designs

HP

My final series of HP LaserJet printers were honored with a prestigious Red dot award. This set of products had the goal of unifying the design language of HP products, from printers to PCs. It was universally recognized as a giant leap forward for design at HP. It set the stage for the company to be recognized as a design leader in many of the categories it competes in.

Smart Portable Printer Design Concept

HP

Below is a design concept for a small form factor printer that worked seamlessly with mobile devices. The concept would use a tablet or phone to control it's many print / scan capabilities.

The design focused on form and material. The form was approachable. The materials made it feel hand crafted. The printer physically integrates with mobile computing devices.

13º Design Language

HP

The 13º slash is an iconic element to the HP brand. HP had organized around using the slash as a defining element in all of it's products. My team and I were focused on integrating the 13º mark into HP LaserJet printers.
